Droplet in a pandemic

She watches the water run down the pane.
Water droplets saving the earth.
Somewhere someone bets on the speed
But not all droplets are the same.
Water gives life and water is bartered
And brings wealth and health.

She can’t see the droplet in the air.
Respiratory droplets killing the earth.
Somewhere someone counts their days
For not all droplets are the same.
